Who we are
SMB Tactics LLC ("SMB Tactics," "we," "us") is a small business marketing company based in Oceanside, California, serving clients across the United States. Questions about this policy go to info@smbtactics.com or (951) 225-2323.
What we collect
What you give us
When you fill out our contact form, book a call, email, call or text us, we collect what you send: your name, phone number, email, business name, what you do, and anything you write in your message.
What's collected automatically
When you visit the site, our tools collect standard technical information: pages viewed, how you got here (for example a search, an ad or a link with a tracking tag), your device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the date and time. Cookies and similar technologies are used to do this.
Calls and texts
Phone numbers on this site may be tracking numbers. When you call or text one, we record details such as your number, the time, how long the call lasted and which page or ad led to the call. Calls may be recorded for quality and training; when they are, you'll hear a notice at the start of the call.
How we use it
We use this information to answer you, provide the services you ask for, schedule calls, see which pages and ads bring in real inquiries, improve the site, keep it secure, and meet our legal obligations. If you text us, we reply about your request. We don't send marketing texts unless you ask us to, and you can reply STOP at any time. Message and data rates may apply.
Cookies and tracking
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
Advertising. We use the Meta pixel and Google advertising features to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. You can turn these off at any time with the Do Not Sell or Share My Info link, which is also at the bottom of every page.
Call tracking. We use CallRail to connect calls to the page or ad that led to them.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, and advertising tracking stays off.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy terms. These include Google (analytics, advertising, email and scheduling), Meta (advertising measurement), CallRail (call tracking), Web3Forms (our contact form), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), and our customer-relationship and email tools. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Under California law, letting advertising partners like Meta and Google collect information on our site for ad targeting can count as "selling" or "sharing." That's why we give you the opt-out above.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you, work with you, and keep business and tax records. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the periods set in those tools.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we've collected about you and how we use and share it;
- ask us to delete it, or to correct it if it's wrong;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information;
- limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect it for that purpose);
- be treated the same whether or not you use these rights.
To make a request, email info@smbtactics.com or call (951) 225-2323. We'll confirm your request and may need to verify who you are. You can have an authorized agent make a request for you. People in other states may have similar rights, and we'll honor those requests too.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections (SSL) and access controls on our accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
